The annual Serbian Film Festival is returning to Australia for the 17th time. Films will be screening at Hoyts cinemas from 24 November to 10 December across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Fremantle. Over the past 16 years, audiences throughout Australia have viewed well over 100 Serbian feature and documentary films. Belgrade-based critic, director and producer Nenad Dukic selects these contemporary films each year. Indeed, some of these films have had their world premiere in Australia. We are also delighted to welcome Milijana Nikolic as this year’s Serbian Film Festival Ambassador.
The Serbian Film Festival, a registered not-for-profit incorporated body, is proudly supported by many including: Hoyts, The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, The Consulate of the Republic of Serbia, Beo Group Australia, Serbian Voice/Srpski Glac newspaper, Air Serbia/Etihad Airways, as well as a dedicated group of volunteers.
The executive board comprises members in Sydney, Melbourne as well as Belgrade.
